We are open term times only, following the Somerset school term dates timetable. A link to the dates can be found here: Final Somerset Term Dates and Holidays 2018-19 and Somerset Term Dates and Holidays 2019-20

  • What are your opening times?

We open Monday to Friday from 8am, and close at 4pm

  • What time do your sessions run?

You can pick start times of: 8am, 9.15am, 11.45am and 12.45pm

The finish times on offer are 11.45am, 12.45pm, 3.15pm and 4pm

(in the afternoon we open the doors from 3pm so if you are needing to do a school pick-up, you have time to do both)

  • What time do you have lunch?

Our lunchtime runs from 11.45 until the children finish, at around 12.20pm

  • Do you cater for allergies or dietary needs?

Yes, we do. We have children attending whom have various dietary needs that we cater for.  We provide dairy free alternatives for children, and this also includes when we bake as we vary the recipes to cater for all children. We are a nut free zone, but will allow foods with traces of nuts to be included in your child’s lunch box

  • What age do children need to be to attend?

We accept children from the age of two years old, and providing we have space at time of application, children can start any time throughout the year

  • What will I need to bring in for my child?

If your child is in over the lunch period then they will need to bring in their own named packed lunch and drink. It’s advisable for all children to have at least one full set of spare clothes in a named bag that they can keep on their own peg in the cloakroom. If your child is in nappies then also include nappies and wipes in their bag please

  • What should I do if my child is sick?

If your child has sickness or diarrhoea they need to be off for 48hrs from the last time they were unwell. If you ring up and let us know then we can mark them as sick on the register. If it’s anything that’s contagious it would be great for you to inform us, just in case we have an outbreak and also so we can inform parents to be aware of any cases

  • My child needs medication, can you administer this?

Yes we can, providing the medication has been prescribed by the doctor and has a doctors label on with the child’s name, date, and dosage on. There will be a medication form for you to fill out upon arrival and then sign at the end of the session to acknowledge that you have been informed of us administering it and the time we did this

  • My child has asthma, can they attend?

Of course they can. We have children attending that have asthma and need to use their inhaler at times. We will set up a care plan with you the day your child starts attending, so that all staff are aware of the routine to follow and the symptoms to look out for, as well as any triggers to be aware of. All the staff are first aid trained and knowledgeable in this area
